Reina De Mandaue is not merely a pageant, it is a celebration of diversity, inclusivity, elegance and the enduring spirit of Mandauehanons. This iconic event, has held distinction of being the longest running gay pageant in Southeast Asia. This year would be our 51st year of existence. Our beloved Mandaue is committed to excellence and understands the cultural significance of supporting events that showcases the vibrancy and sophistication of our community. A few years ago, Mandaue City passed a city-wide diversity code, a bill protecting the LGBTQ’s rights. Since time immemorial, Mandaue City has always been accepting of the LGBTQ community. It is really not about tolerating but accepting and has always welcomed the LGBTQ community. The Mandauehanons has practiced inclusivity before it came into style.
