Tilapia with Mango Salsa Recipe

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • For the Mango Salsa:
    • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and diced
    • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
    • 1 red bell pepper, diced
    • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
    • Juice of 1 lime
    • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Season the tilapia fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the tilapia fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and flake easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
  4. While the tilapia is cooking, prepare the mango salsa. In a bowl, combine the diced mangoes, red onion, red bell pepper, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Once the tilapia fillets are done, remove them from the skillet.
  6. Serve the tilapia fillets topped with the mango salsa.
