So, how did you get into pageantry? What made you want to compete?
In the fall of 2021, I decided to take a leap into the unknown and pursue my dream of working in the entertainment industry. This journey began with my pursuit of acting and hosting. I then discovered an opportunity to sign with a talent agency if I won a national pageant. The only catch was that I knew nothing about pageantry. However, I’ve always had a passion for serving and helping others. I believe that with the right mindset, skills can be learned. So, I entered the pageant and trained diligently for seven months. After five months, I was signed to a talent agency based on my own merit, and at seven months, I won the national title.
What does beauty mean to you? It’s more than just looks, right?
Absolutely, I believe beauty means being confident in who you are, loving yourself, and knowing your worth. Beauty is all around us—in experiences, architecture, and nature. It is the purest expression of authenticity and creativity.
What makes you special? What sets you apart from the other contestants?
I believe everyone is special because each of us has a unique story that shapes who we are. As John Mark Green famously said, “Everyone has a history. What you do with it is up to you. Some repeat it. Some learn from it. The really special ones use it to help others.”
What’s the coolest thing you’ve learned from being in pageants?
Pageantry embodies a sense of community. It’s an incredible feeling to be surrounded by like-minded, encouraging, and positive people, which is one of the reasons I fell in love with it.
How do you deal with people who might say mean things?
I don’t let it affect me; I focus on staying positive and maintaining a positive outlook despite adversity.
What kind of person do you think does well in pageants?
A person who sets clear goals for the type of queen they want to become and the impact they aim to have. Win or lose, your personal achievements are something that no one can take away from you.
Being in a pageant means a lot of people are watching. How do you stay yourself through it all?
I do not find that challenging because I’m always myself, with or without my crown. If someone decides to enter a pageant, it’s important for them to choose a system that aligns with their values, so they don’t feel the need to pretend.
What do you dream of doing in the future, pageant world or not?
As a pageant coach, I love what I do. My goal is to help people from around the world unlock their “I Am Boundless” potential and compete with confidence and purpose.
