Beauty Queen and TransNurse, Mariella Castillo

A Nurse by profession in one of the Tertiary Hospitals in Cebu”, a proud TransNurse ready to serve is one of the so many people in the community we can take pride in. She is also a member of Repos Angels Incorporated, a LGBT Group in Cebu City.

Growing up, Mariella knew she was different from her peers, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on why. It wasn’t until she was in her teenage years that she realized she was transgender.

After completing her studies, Mariella went on to become a nurse. She worked tirelessly to earn her degree and was finally able to achieve her dream of helping others. She worked hard to gain the trust of her patients and colleagues, and her dedication to her work did not go unnoticed.

Mariella’s story is a testament to the power of perseverance and determination. She faced so many obstacles growing up, but she never gave up on her dreams. She is proof that with hard work and a strong will, anything is possible.

Let us all take a moment to salute Mariella Castillo, a proud TransNurse, and former beauty queen, whose unwavering spirit and dedication to her work have made a significant impact on the world.
